Parents magazine is now published by Meredith Corp. Meredith is a publicly traded company based in Des Moines, Iowa. It has two divisions, publishing and broadcasting. The company owns 14 television stations and 1 radio station. The publishing division includes popular magazines such as Better Homes and Gardens and Ladies' Home Journal. In June 2005, Meredith purchased Fitness, Parents, and Family Circle magazines from Bertelsmann's Gruner + Jahr USA, for $350 million.
